Erik and Julia Klaassen are the owners of Galini Breeze. They live at the resort and take care of all the work themselves, so they can optimally take care of the guests in the studios.
They are a friendly Dutch couple of around 50, and live in Leersum, the Netherlands, in the winter. They recently transferred their international family business to their successors, so that they now have the space and time to make their next dream come true: running a small-scale holiday resort on a sunny island.
In recent years, they had been looking for the ideal project to take over in various countries around the Mediterranean. After an intensive orientation plus a week’s stay at Galini Breeze, at the end of ’24, it turned out that this resort perfectly fits their wishes and possibilities. The former owners, Marc and Monique Hinfelaar were just looking for interested parties to take over their small-scale resort, and since there was a click on both sides – both personally and professionally – the formal takeover is a fact since March 2025.
